Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI 5-pole
The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection type IP20 supports rapid, correct installation. Our pluggable installation connectors with spring pressure connection technology function completely without screw connections. They allow flexible, error-free installation in numerous applications. For greater protection in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is provided with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). This means that users' fingers will never come into contact with live elements. The 2- or 5-pole version of the dark grey WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with L coding supports use of an emergency power supply. The rated current and voltage are important criteria for selecting a pluggable installation connector: They provide information about possible domains of use and applications. This product has a current rating of 20 A – so it is also suitable for powerful loads. WINSTA® MIDI with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology is found in a broad range of individual products you can use for quick, easy, flexible, and secure electrical installation. According to the European CPR, the fire class of the cables used in construction is essential for the safety of buildings, too. For houses with medium-level safety requirements, cable assemblies with fire class E are suitable. The cable assembly is free of halogen. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production. It also achieves a higher fire class, since halogen-free materials are flame-resistant.
