Cable assembly WINSTA® MINI with protection against mismating
The WINSTA® MINI cable assembly rated current 16 A supports rapid, correct installation. On PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to establish connections according to a huge variety of requirements in next to no time. For greater security in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is equipped with mechanical protection against mismating. Controlled lighting equipment, as used in the DALI standard, for example, is the main application of WINSTA® MINI pluggable installation connectors with I coding. WINSTA® MINI is our response to the trend toward miniaturisation. Our smallest pluggable connection system is very good for lights, for example, since as a result of LED technology; due to complex systems, these offer much less space for the connection technology. According to the European CPR, the fire class of the cables used for construction is decisive for building safety as well. For houses with average safety requirements, cable assemblies with fire class E are suitable. The cable assembly is free of halogen. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production. It also achieves a higher fire class, since halogen-free materials are flame-resistant.
