In the KT1503 series of force transducers, the force is applied via the M12 female thread for measuring ranges up to 10 kN. The transducers are based on the S-Beam principle. The force is applied via the internal thread for compressive or tensile forces. The aluminium measuring body is available from the measuring range 1 kN…10 kN in an independent design. The load cell has an integrated digital signal converter and provides output signals of 0…10 V, 4…20 mA @ 24 VSUP. The Wheatstone strain gauge full bridge measuring principle has been proven over decades for this type of force sensor and ensures a long service life.
