The RC35 Series displacement sensors are used in harsh environment applications where a robust linear transducer with excellent linearity, long life and ball joints is required.

The RC35 range of linear potentiometers is designed for applications in harsh environments. For example, the IP67 version is designed for mobile hydraulics and commercial vehicles. The mechanical coupling with ball joints compensates for movements transverse to the pushrod, allowing non-linear movements to be coupled easily and without stress. The mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided push rod.
Potentiometric displacement measurement is performed using a high-resolution conductive plastic resistive element. The encoder has a very long life and high accuracy due to its good linearity. As the potentiometric measuring principle provides absolute values and requires no electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust against EMC influences.
